• Futurestep Career Guidance - The service, sponsored by a major executive search firm, reports 50,000 management professionals have signed up. Candidates register at no charge and complete a series of questionnaires that address their skills, preferred organizational culture, decision-making style, and career motivators. Within 24 hours, they can log on to their personal home page at Futurestep and retrieve career feedback, including a potential salary. The CEO of the service says he expects it to enable recruiting drives to now take only 30 days compared to 4 - 6 months by traditional methods.

• Switchboard - Over 100 million residential listings and 11 million business listings. Of particular interest is the web site lookup. This feature enables you to enter a search subject and it pulls up a list of web sites about the subject with a link to each site.

• Federal Reserve Board Statistics And Releases - Here you can track things like selected interest rates, foreign exchange rates, and commercial paper trends. Other data includes assets and liabilities of commercial banks. There are some daily updates and others that are weekly, quarterly and annually.
