These are sources to help a busy CEO, top manager or business owner get sports information, latest scores and to keep up to date on their favorite participatory or spectator sport.

  • Major League Baseball - This is the official baseball site with comprehensive news, statistics, historical information and live audio of games.

  • NBA

  • Golf Courses For The Traveler - This comprehensive site provides essential info on thousands of North American courses, including tee times, green fees, difficulty levels, and directions for getting there. Once you find the right course, you can print out a set of directions and a color map. The Travel section features reviews of resorts and courses--and you're welcome to add your opinions too. A great site for the traveling golfer to consult.

  • Adventure Sports - On this site you will find many links to participatory sports such as skydiving, river rafting, hang gliding, trekking, and hunting, with in-depth descriptions and contact info for the sponsoring organizations. Search the extensive offerings for land, air, or water sports by keyword or geographic region.

  • Sports Illustrated/CNN - These two news giants, both leaders in their respective fields, have combined forces to provide wide-ranging sports news. Unlike some of the other sports web sites, CNN/SI breaks the mold by offering all of its content free of charge. In addition to the sports information you would expect, you can preview the current week's print issue of Sports Illustrated.

  • NBC Sports - This site is packed with sports information. Whether you're into football, basketball, golf, or gymnastics, you'll find it all here. Armchair quarterbacks will also find handy schedules and amazing pregame football analysis pages that will make even the most casual fan sound like an expert.

  • NCAA Statistics - Individual and team statistics on many collegiate sports.

  • ESPN Sports Zone

  • Pro Football

  • ABC Monday Night Football

  • Golf.com

  • CBS Sportsline

  • YachtingNet - One stop for information on yachting and sailing.

  • Ski Resorts - This site provides in depth information on not only snow conditions but also the ski area itself - like restaurants, churches and other local information.

  • Cross Country Skiing - There is an alternative to enjoying the snow without barreling down steep mountainsides with high-tech pieces of plastic strapped to your feet. It's called cross-country, and those who favor it claim to get more exercise, see more scenery, and don't have to pay for lift tickets. X-country enthusiasts should visit this site which has an enormous collection of links to sites of suitable skiing locales across the U.S., Canada, and a handful of other countries.
